Manor Support & Housing was set up to cater for the needs of adults 18 + with a wide range of diagnosis including but not limited to mental health, physical disabilities, dementia and other comorbidities with a focus on quality of service provision rather than business development. We provide care and support in our supported living provisions and also to people living in their homes in the community.
We strongly believe that everyone whatever the nature or severity of their conditions should be enabled with the right support to exercise their right to respect ,dignity, choice and opportunity. It is important to work with service users in a person-centred manner to ensure their wishes, desires and beliefs are at the centre of service provision.
Our work is informed by relevant legislation/regulations such as the Equality Act 2012, Mental capacity Act 2005, Human rights Act 1998 and the Mental Health Act 1983 to ensure that service user’s rights are protected and best interest decisions are made in partnership with the people we support and other stakeholders involved in their care taking into consideration their personal life choices, cultural and ethnic preferences.
Our staff team benefits from support for further development of their professional care skills and career development opportunities. We strive to safeguard both the people we support and staff from all elements of abuse and poor practice by providing appropriate training.
